Another advantage of presenting this work on a CD instead of a paper book, is that I can keep costs down.
Such a lavish use of colour photographs would make a 'normal' book an expensive proposition, and would certainly lead to a culling of the photos that could be included.

In this work I have actually added extra photographs that a hard-copy book could not afford: I've shown the variations of backstamps, the different colour-ways in the patterns, and even pictures of unidentified patterns.
Another factor in keeping costs down is shipping.
A printed book with one-thousand-three-hundred images, would be thick and heavy, and cost a lot more than the $6 that I charge to buy a plastic case for the CD, a padded bag, and to post it.
