This is a great image for any colorado collection. You are bidding on this wonderful 5" X 8" photograph of 6 men on horseback at the summit of pikes peak in colorado. on the back handwritten is the date JULY 4th 1890. the studio is W. E. Hook, manitou springs colorado. in the lower right corner of the image is summit of Pike's Peak elevation 14336 feet. this is a fantastic period piece, a few small holes in the corner and some small creases no in the image area. another interesting point on the image the background is a stone building and t are two men, one is the doorway was not intended to be in the picture and he is moving and thus blurred, the other man leaving the building is really blurred from motion. this is a great piece. buyer pays 5.00 usa shipping and 8.00 international shipping.
