Up for auction is a very nice 5c trade stimulator called the Daval Gum Vendor. It was manufactured in 1932 by the Daval Company. It is a three reel standard slot symbols trade stimulator.This game plays okay. You put in a nickel, push down the handle, and the reels spin. Any winning payoff as shown by the award card would be paid by the location operator. The reels spin quickly most of the time but every so many plays one or two reels move slowly or not at all. The first reel always seems to work well while the other two sometimes do not. It probably can be resolved with a little TLC. The gumball mechanism does not work and may have the wrong parts installed. The back door is not correct for the machine as can be seen in the pictures but does shut and lock in place. The cabinet itself has no cracks and displays nicely. Sounds worse than it is but is priced accordingly.I am also including a jackpot front for the machine if you want to swap out the standard front!The pictures are of the item you are bidding on.
