NO RESERVE!! David Andersen Sterling and Burled wood handle Hunting Knife. The blade has some surface scratching- also marked "David Andersen Norway". The Scabbard is sterling and a black subtle leather (t is no cracking or age problems). We polished the scabbard just so we could read it. Its inscribed "Fra Asbjorn og Ragnar 1-2-1961" as well as the David Andersen Name, Logo, Norway, and Sterling. The inside of the box reads "Peer Gynt Kniven". The original brochure is a bifold with the story in Dutch- some age yellowing. The box shows some wear on the corners and the bottom. The Knife is approximately 9" with the Scabbard, 8" without. The winning bidder is responsible for actual shipping cost (established by zip code) and any special shipping request (i.e. insurance, etc.). Please be advised that this item is currently on display in our showroom, so we cannot calculate a shipping cost until the end of the auction and the item can be packaged for shipping. When feasible, we will give you the weight of the item and you may guess-timate your own shipping. Since we do not charge a handling fee, this would amount to weight of the package. Payment must be received 3(three) days from the end of the auction unless other arrangements have been made. Money orders guarantee immediate shipping. Payment by check will be ship upon the banks release of the funds.
