1976 Signed and Numbered Lithograph called " Drum Point Light " numbered 177/1000 measuring 15" x 9" in a double mat. Please read more about David Knowlton III below. This has been kept in its original shrink wrap plastic all these years. The only slight is a pin hole in the top center margin w these were hung and taped to a wall. This is as it was when it was purchased in 1976. The print looks a bit dull as all the photos were taken over the plastic. I did not want to remove it. Any dirt or scratches is on the plastic, not on the lithograph. All of these together would make a magnificent series on a wall and will grow in value over the years. An appointment to the U.S. Military Academy interrupted his study of art, but David found ways to vent his creative talents while editing the West Point yearbook. He became an Army Engineer and was further educated at Stanford University. The engineering drawing he did as a student and designer began to show forth in his art, especially when he made the transition to acrylics in the early 1970s.David left the Army in 1973 and began a two-year transition to a full-time art career. His popularity increased to the point that he began developing lithographic reproductions of his best works in 1976. He now also does canvas transfer prints.
