This book is hard-bound in green cloth with gilt stamp ing to the spine. There is some light rubbing to the c orners and spine-ends. Light edge-wear. The binding is solid and tight. The contents are bright and cle an with some illustrations throughout by Thomas Nast. The book is written in Dialect, such as "Bein a perfect record u v the ups, downs, and experiences uv the dimocrisy , doorin the eventful year 1867, ez seen by a naturalized K entuckian."
