Now up for bids is the hard to find Silver Series of knives by David Yellowhorse. This one is the third in the series the Sacred Buffalo. Even better, this is a low serial numbered knife (304) out of 2500 knives made. It is always a good idea to get these knives in a serial number below 1500 because quality standards declined substantially after serial number 1500. Being that this knife was made early in the production run, you can bet you're getting the very best. The main feature of this knife is not only the superb artwork by Yellowhorse, but the 1 oz of silver used in making the handle scales. The blade also has unique hallmarking with David Yellowhorse's signature and a golden colored horse head engraved into the knife blade. The clip blade itself is made of stainless steel and is razor sharp. The best news of all, though, is that this knife is still in the original white paper box unlike most of the silver series knives seen on ebay today which have been handled if not used. This truly is New In the Box. If you haven't finished your Christmas shopping yet, this item would make the perfect gift for the knife collector or collector of Native American artwork. Gifts don't get any better than this. The knife not only has great utility, but great beauty as well. T is no reserve on this auction and low starting bid of just $1. read more
