Item: Davidson Vaseline/Canary English Pressed Glass Lady Caroline small Creamer. Pattern #225 Called the 1891 Suite. Maker: George Davidson & Company. Guaranteed to be OLD. Condition: Excellent Conditon! No chips, cracks or damage of any kind. The feet are chip free. The opalescense is even and heavy around the top and the handle. The glass is clear yellow-green and bright. The bottom has several rings. In Photo #4 I have tried to show them. T is a tiny thickening of glass at 9:00 o'clock (like you were looking at a clock) This was put in the glass when it was made. It is a little rough to the touch. It covers a few rings. It is clear glass but I wanted to mention it. Size: 3 1/4" Long from lip to handle, 2 1/4" High and 2" Wide. Flaws: No Flaws to the Creamer itself except for the thickening on the bottom of glass that disturbs a couple of the rings. Made: 1891. References: The book "Vaseline Glass: Canary to Contemporary" by Dave Peterson. He discusses George Davidson Glass on Pages #146-148. He shows a photo of a creamer like this one on Page #59, Item #393. Comments: This is a cute little creamer. It is Vaseline Glass and really glows under a black light.
