Item: George Davidson English Pressed Glass Lady Caroline Primrose Pearline Vaseline Sugar Maker: George Davidson & Company. Guaranteed to be OLD. Condition: The Sugar itself is in Very Good Condition as far as the glass being clear and the opalescence heavy. It is Vaseline Glass so it really glows under a black light. Not one flaw to the rim as it is thick and creamy looking. Size: 2" High and 3 1/4" Wide. Flaws: Several small chips to the bottom of the dish. I have tried to show them in Photo #3. These are Flaws. Made: 1893 or soon after. References: The book " Vaseline Glass: Canary to Contemporary " by Dave Peterson tells about George Davidson Glass on Pages #146-148. On Page #59 a photo of a sugar like this one is Item #389. Comments: This is a nice Lady Caroline Sugar. It would be in perfect condition if t were no chips to the bottom. Of course, on the shelf you do not see them but they are t I prefer PayPal but I will take a Postal Money order or Cashier's Check. Your item will be shipped within two days of receiving payment.
