8-Day Seth Thomas Antique Mantle Clock 1940’s

THIS ITEM SELLS WITH NO RESERVE!

Hello and thank you for looking……. You are bidding on a Seth Thomas Antique Mantle Clock 100% all original in good condition. This is an 8-Day Steeple Mantle clock. The Seth Thomas Clock Company was started in 1820 and has been known for making high quality clocks. It was made around 1940. The wooden case is very beautiful and in very nice condition. We are not clock experts but we wound the clock 2 turns and it did start ticking and gonged although the sound was a little flat, it may need a tune up by a professional. The clock measures 14 ¾ inches high, 5 ½ inches deep, and 9 inches wide. T are 2 clock keys and original paperwork, even the original price tag. T are some small of scratches on the case and around the door knob. The clock face is original but the colors have faded a little over the years. This clock is still very lovely. It says “Seth Thomas made in U.S.A. ” on the face. We are selling this for an older couple, friends of the family. The time has come for them to move to a smaller and easier living arrangement. So we are helping them sell a few items that they are willing to part with. This Clock was her mother’s, she bought it new.
