Exquisite Swarovski Crystal Swan, Retired In Box With Orginal Certificate Book! The figurine was designed by Max Schreck and issued in 1977. This gorgeous piece is true grace, elegance and charm. Bring home the beautiful swan as she paddles gracefully on the serene waters of a lake. The swan is made up of two parts, the amazing faceted body with base and the symmetrical well formed, graceful long neck and head that is solid glass. The combination is what makes this a truly remarkable piece and is sure to be the center of attention in any glass collection or would be a great first piece. This piece was first added to Swarovski's already huge animal figurines collection 32 years ago, the stamp on this piece is the older one, as with all great crystal and glass makers stamps changed throughout time to show when they were created. She is 2 1/2 inches long and even under magnification except for some dust from being in the box for so long she is without any chips, scratches, imperfections or flea bites. This piece and another were found at an estate by the auction house I use, the Lalique and Baccarat were on display but the Swarovski was in the boxes in a closet and a smoke free, animal free home. We found this piece available at a starting price of $130.00 but as always at D & H Cool Stuff we will start the bidding at much reduced price.
