DC Direct "Silver Age" Batman and Robin Mint condition from my personal collection. I ship USPS with tracking info; item will be carefully packaged and shipped as soon as paypal payment clears. The late 1950s to the early 1970s was known as The Silver Age of comics, a time when art and writing took great leaps forward, when American superheroes became at once more fantastic and more human, when darkness was allowed to seep into storylines and characters. Of course, a character with as much depth as Batman flourished in this era, returning to his roots as the World's Greatest Detective, the darkness of Bob Kane and Bill Finger's original creation coming to the fore again. In this set, Batman is rendered as he was then, simple yet iconic, alongside his perennial sidekick, Robin: The Boy Wonder.
