You are bidding on a DC-3 smoking stand. All parts were re-chromed last month. All wiring is new. Power cord has a molded in polarized plug. The nickel plated push switch is new. All bulbs are new. This unit was disassembled, cleaned, re-plated and re-assembled. The center pipe was cleaned and painted black. An extra bulb was added to the bottom to brighten the lighting. Also, the DC3 has 2 (3 watt) flicker bulbs that make the plane appear as if people are walking back and forth in front of the windows. It is a very dramatic look. It is 32” tall. The slag glass has NO chips and NO cracks.

The cigar / cigarette MICO lighter works great and has perfect isinglass in the front. (mica heat insulator). This smoking stand includes an additional 2 extra cigar heaters. One works, one does not. Also it includes 2 extra MICO housings. The plane is not on a swivel, however a freshly plated swivel is included.

Propellers are exact reproductions. Also included is extra 3 watt flicker bulbs and extra “display bulbs” used to light up the deco slag glass orbs.

The only weak point is that the new chrome work on the base is about an 8.5 on a scale of 0-10. This is 70 years old and was plated as best as it could be. Please email with any questions, or if you want more pictures. I have MANY pictures of this unit during disassembly, and many “before” and “after” photos during reassembly. It is very beautiful. Successful bidder should arrange for transportation, or may pick up near Rockford , Illinois . I will work with your transport company if you want to have it picked up by them. These do not ship well. PayPal accepted, or if you wish to pick the unit up, you can put a $100 deposit through PayPal and pay the balance on pick up with cash.
