A truly beautiful example of this rare and vintage Cartier fountain penwhich was made exclusively in 1989 for one year only. This pen features the much sought after green malachite lacquer finish on the pens body, a vintage Cartier touch which was exclusive to these pens made in 1989 only. In truly excellent as NEW condition, this pen has been kept stored away in a private collection for the majority of the past 24 years. Presented in the original Must De Cartier outer box. This pen is in full working order, cartridges or an ink converter can be used in this pen, the choice is yours. This auction does not include an ink converter. FYI Cartier ink cartridges are available to purchase directly from Cartier or online. Very Rare and highly collectable item. Made in France. The unique authenticity numbers and year of manufacture are etched into the gold at the top of the pen which reads: 'Cartier 1989 A88441' The nib is in full working order and made from Solid 18K Gold, hallmarks are displayed: '18K 750' which represent the gold content.
