Thisauction is for an absolutely gorgeous signed Robert DeMario De Mario bracelet made of 16 gold tone strands, alternating 3 different patterns: One thickly braided, one thinner, one floral. The clasp with floral ornamentation is stamped "DE MARIO" . It measures approx. 7 and 3/4 inches long and 2 inches across. The Robert DeMario Jewelry Company was founded in 1945 in New York City . Production ceased in the 1960's when Robert DeMario decided to quit the business and move to Florida . DeMario jewelry was produced in very limited quantities and is among the rarest found on today's market . It is characterized by beautiful designs and excellent craftsmanship which often incorporates hand-sewn brass strung threads using faceted Austrian beads, rhinestones and faux pearls. Robert DeMario worked for Miriam Haskell in the 1940s and his jewelry is often mistaken for Haskell jewelry. This came out of the estate of a woman with excellent high end jewelry, which I will be posting this week. I'm always happy to combine shipping for multiple auctions. Good luck!
