Vaughn Bode's DEADBONE, THE FIRST TESTAMENT OF CHEECH WIZARD, THE CARTOON MESSIAH. (c) Canada 1985 by Northern Comfort Communications. Hard to find 1st Edition, hardcover with dust jacket of Vaughn (1941 - 1975) Bode's famous character -- Cheech Wizard -- and voluptuous women, illustrated in glorious black and white. Also includes a 2-sided color sheet torn out from a magazine (unknown) that was found inside the book. CONDITION: Book has damage along lower spine (bad puppy!), but does not affect inside pages. See pix #5. Inside pages are excellent as this was stored away in a box all these years. No rips or tears to pages. No folds; no ink stains. Dust jacket shows age discoloring; white parts look dirty. DJ chipped along top cover front and back (see pix #3 & 6). Dust jacket lower spine area is chewed out (same bad puppy - see pix #4). There are no returns so please look at pictures carefully and ask questions. FROM WIKIPEDIA -- Vaughn Bode (July 22, 1941 - July 18, 1975) was an artist involved in underground comics, graphic design and graffiti. He is best known for his comic strip character Cheech Wizard and artwork depicting voluptuous women. His works are noted for their psychedelic look and feel.
