Original 11x14-inch U.S. lobby card was produced to promote the 1944 Universal horror / mystery film, DEAD MAN'S EYES, which starred Lon Chaney Jr., Jean Parker, Paul Kelly, Thomas Gomez, Jonathan Hale, Edward Fielding, Acquanetta, George Meeker, Pierre Watkin and Eddie Dunn. The film was directed by Reginald Le Borg. DEAD MAN'S EYES was part of the Inner Sanctum series. This card is from the 1950 Realart re-issue of the film. However, this is an original studio-produced movie item -- NOT a copy or reproduction. The card -- #7 of the set -- features a great shot of a doctor examining Lon Chaney's eyes, as a nurse looks on. The card has some slight discoloration along the very edge of the right side border, but otherwise, it is crisp, clean, and in excellent+ condition. We strive to grade all items accurately and in addition, give detailed descriptions of all major flaws. Our grades of condition are as follows: NEAR MINT: Unused condition. This poster has little or no signs of handling, with clean borders and bright colors..... EXCELLENT: Clean and bright with little visible wear.
