DESCRIPTION Weighs 24 GRAMS The pendant/pin measures 3-1/2" by 3" at the widest point Bail has an inside diameter of 3/16" Stamped Sterling Hallmarked by the Navajo Artist, "GKE" Dead Pawn Item ( see definition below ) Up for auction is a gorgeous stamped silver and brass pin or pendant depicting a Navajo woman seated with a basket. The scene is reminiscent of the late Navajo, R.C. Gorman's, paintings. This beautiful pendant is in very good condition. Turquoise Mountain is considered a classic mine because the turquoise is so different in appearance. This stone exhibits a beautiful range of color from pale blue to lime green in one piece that makes it a sought-after turquoise. This mine was closed in the 1980's. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION .
