The definition of original art is when actual pencil, pen, marker, ink, or paint is used to render an illustration by an artist by hand.I only sell ORIGINAL ART . This was used in the production of the actual comic book, it's a one-of-a-kind item.I am a believer as collectors we're mere custodians of the artwork, holding onto it for safe keeping for future generations to enjoy. With that, I've decided to reduce and pare down my collection and put up for sale various pieces for other collectors to enjoy. I've invested a lot of time and money acquiring my collection of original artwork and it's nice to find them a new happy home to the winning bidder.This is a drawing of the character MANDY by DEAN YEAGLE, it was rendered by Dean Yeagle who then has his artwork published in a series of sketchbooks called "Scribblings" throughout the years, issuing them nearly annually and I believe there's at lest 6 volumes released so far, as well as other publications like "Melange" and "Mandy Godiva" and "One Mandy Morning" and possibly used in Play boy Magazine.If you're a fan of his art, you'll understand how he illustrates on 8.5" x 11" paper with pencil and then uses them for his publications."MANDY" is a character that Dean Yeagle created who often appears in Play boy Magazine in the cartoon pin-ups.Dean Yeagle's artwork usually commands values in excess of $200 upwards towards and past the $500 range for similar pencil drawings on 8.5" x 11", which he hand signs with his autograph at the bottom of each illustration.Dean Yeagle started in animation in Philadelphia, PA . After marrying Barbara (also an artist, and musician) and the birth of their daughter Becky, the need for actual money drove them to New York, and a job as designer, animator and eventually director with one of the top animation houses in NYC. In 1986, with partner Nancy Beiman, he opened Caged Beagle Productions, Inc., a full-service animation studio, and has produced, directed, designed and animated innumerable TV commercials and CD-ROMs, with clients across the United States and Europe.
