Over the years if you counted the hours I either walked or dove off the beaches of Kauai it literally would add up to a few months. I mention this because off all the time I've looked for and found sunrise shells I've only found 3-4 that were the color this shell is. I believe it's known as tangerine. The shell itself is in excellent condition. The shell is very close to being pure tangerine. The shell has a couple places w overgrowth occurred and this only adds to the shells elite status among sunrise shells. It measures 21mm. Tabs are intact. If used for jewelry people would take double takes at this shell. If you collect these shells then this is a must have for any collection. THIS IS ONE SHELL YOU CAN APPRECIATE, BUT THEN AGAIN AREN'T THEY ALL.
