Legendary and rare TAS recording A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM MENDELSSOHN & PETER MAAG DECCA SXL 2060 WBG ED1 'Original Recording By' Overall this is a very nice copy of this wonderful recording. Side One grades visually EX+ with an exceptionally light scuff mark only visible under strong light. Side Two grades VG with three light scratch marks. In spite of these visual flaws the album plays extremely well with only some occasional light ticks. The marks on Side Two seem to have little or no impact on the quality of the audio. I would probably grade overall EX-. The sleeve is generally in EX condition with little signs of wear and tear but does have the remains of some yellowed sellotape at the bottom of the rear of the cover. Because of this I will grade as VG+. ! Please note I use UK Record Collector grading system for all albums with the addition of the accepted Near Mint category: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.NEAR MINT: The record appears new but is known to have been played because the label has light spindle marks or because it has come from a previous owner and is assumed to have been played by them EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having
