This necklace and bracelet set by the Mazer Brothers exemplifies what their quality is all about: innovative design, excellent materials, and superior craftsmanship. They are made up of articulated links with unfoiled sapphire blue cabochon stones and on each end are 2 clear famous Mazer tapered baguettes angling outward with a small section with 2 pave clear stones in between in a detailed silvertoned setting. The foldover clasps and clasp ends also have pave clear stones. The pieces are delicate, lovely, and absolutely have the look of actual fine jewelry. The necklace is 15" long and the bracelet is 7" long with a fully working safety chain. The pieces are on the dainty side at a bit over 1/4" wide at the baguette sections. They are both marked "Mazer Bros." on the clasps, which is the oldest mark, from before the brothers split up and formed Jomaz and Mazer in the 1950's. A couple of the tiny pave stones on the necklace have a very faint greenish tinge, possibly from the age of the original glue but this is barely noticeable, especially when worn. Otherwise the set is in excellent condition. This is (cliche warning!!) a set than can be passed on for generations to enjoy. But you enjoy it first!
