Up for auction is an antique wood coal bin. The wood is hand carved and nicely detailed which can be seen in the picture. It has the original metal insert which used to hold coal. This is aged and does have holes in the bottom and handles on each side to take it out. The lid is held on by two decorative metal hinges. T are wheels on the bottom for moving it around, one wheel is missing which can be seen in the picture. The wood is solid and has a nice patina. T is a chip in the wood by the top hinge which certainly adds character to the piece. It took someone alot of time to hand carve the designs in this piece to make it the beauty it is today. It is a super piece to display and own! It is 15" high to the highest point, 15.25" deep and 14.5" wide. Shipping costs will be determined following the auction.
