A highly decorative Indian sterling Bowl and cover made circa 1900.It stands eight and half inches high [22 cms].The width of the body at the widest point is six and half inches [17 cms] and when the lid is removed the diameter of the opening is 4 inches [10 cms]The weight is 32 troy ounces [992grams].The bowl is supported by three feetand the lid is mounted by a bird. The body and lid are very nicely decorated, and the condition is very good, as t are no dents,splits or repairs.In the photos the bowl may appear gilded, this is not so and is due to bad lighting.My apologies.
