This is an "eggshell porcelain" vase that was created during the transition from Art Nouveau to Art Deco and shows both influences. It was manufactured by Rozenburg Den Haag with the maker's mark used in 1910 from Master Painter Samuel Schellink. This wonderful delicate and elegant vase has a colorful bird and pretty flowers and leaves all over which retains its great coloring. It is 10 cm in height (3,93 "), the width is app. 5 cm (2,11 "). T is a chip of the rim and a few hairlines (see photo).This is indeed a rare piece of pottery that is adorned with exquisite, masterfully executed paintings that wants a new and loving home!
