Now living on the Hopi Indian reservation I have the blessing of knowing many artists. Her miniature pottery is among the very best. This thimble is made from hand coiled native clay from the reservation, painted with natural pigments using one strand of yucca and was fired in an outdoor pit using sheep dung for fuel. Material: Native clay from the Hopi reservation. Mark: Artist's signature and road runner clan symbol and Hopi inside of thimble. Size: Approximately 1 1/2 inches high and 1 1/8 inch wide.
