DEEP PURPLE 'Burn' Vinyl LP in Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve Chunky heavyweight vinyl RELEASE DETAILS LABEL: Purple Records (EMI) YEAR: 1974 CATALOGUE NUMBER: TPS 3505 MATRICES: Both stamped; TPS 3505 A-1U (PORKY-MEL-TRISH) / TPS 3505 B-1U (PECKO) COUNTRY: UK VINYL WEIGHT: 150 grammes CONDITION SLEEVE: EXCELLENT; just some mild creasing to the front. SPINE: Almost perfect. LABELS: NEAR MINT; super bright, clean labels. RECORD - SOUND: EXCELLENT; both sides sound fantastic. Just a little surface noise in run-ins and the odd light A fabulous listen. RECORD - VISUAL: Lovely bright shiny vinyl; just some very faint hairline marks; EXCELLENT / EXCELLENT (+) to look at. PHOTOS GRADING All of my records have been play tested before listing using a new Rega P3-24 turntable. I describe honestly and accurately but please bear in mind that I am only human and such things are always subjective. I tend to grade records conservatively and believe that my feedback speaks for itself. I am a collector myself (please check my feedback as a buyer) and know how disappointing it is to receive an inaccurately described record. I use the Record Collector grading system as shown below. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc. FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
