DEEP SUBMERGENCE GROUP US Navy USS NEREUS Plaque Bronze The following item is from the estate of the Late Admiral Sir Levering Smith and his Wife. The San Diego estate was w they spent their final years after an almost lifetime of service. The Admiral had a very decorated career as a Naval Officer/Scientist and was a consultant for many years after retirement from Active Duty. Beulah (Lewis) served also, as do many wives of Serviceman, but more-so due to the prominence of the Admiral. The many christenings of vessels, social affairs and travels would emulate that of a First Lady. In the following short time we will be offering items from the estate such as Naval memorabilia, artworks and jewelry. For Auction: One plaque from the Deep Submergence Group to Adm Smith.
