is a vintage, deeply carved, laminated Bakelite bangle bracelet. It has clear red unpigmented Bakelite laminated to yellow opaque or colored Bakelite. All hand carved, notice the uneveness of the width of the yellow diagonals. The yellow creamed corn color has nicely patinated on the top layer and is noticably lighter on the sides. Also visible is the fine layer of tiny scratches indicative of age. This tests positive using Simechrome polish and also the smell test from rubbing and hot water. NO pin pricks from earlier testing. This came from a reliable dealer who cleaned out an estate. Guaranteed vintage. Outside measurement is 3 1/4" inside 2 1/2" Width is 5/8 and thickness is 7/16".
