Folks, I am listing 5 different G scale passenger cars made by Robert DeHanes in the mid 1980's and sold under the name "Transportation Milestones". Robert started out making extruded aluminum passenger cars in both standard scale and G scale. He also did the FA diesel engines. The Santa Fe 'Super Chief' set was also made with the short 26" cars and the long 30" cars in authentic scale proportions. Cars have detailed pass. ends, prototype sprung metal trucks, operating knuckle couplers, fully lighted interiors with dual pickups, sprung opening doors, stainless steel handrails, tapered brass axles with turned aluminum wheels. Robert operated out of New Jersey for only a short while when a fire in his manufacturing facility put him out of business. So there are not many of these around. One gentlemen had his 'shorty' set on ebay back in March/April, and at that same time I saw a PRR Tuscan Red set at the TCA show. So this listing is for the 30" G gauge "Taos" Santa Fe 'Sleeper' passenger car. Fair to good used condition. May need some repair especially with interior components that I think are missing or have broken loose. I leave that up to you. Lettering worn off in spots...may be able to get new decals for it?! What may look like marks on the cars are actually shadows since I took the pictures outside. All boxes are very worn from read more
