Williamsburg reproduction of a colonial blue and white Delft inkwell, made in Holland and dated 1970. The one-piece Delft heart measures 4 ¾ inches by 5 inches wide by 2 inches deep, and was originally intended to hold ink. It has three holes for feather quill pens, and a removable unmarked pewter insert for a candle. Today, this piece could be used dry for potpourri or with water in the well for flowers. This piece is in new condition; it looks like it has never been used. T is no damage of any kind and the colors remain bright.Questions and comments are welcome!
