"Hello and Welcome" Up for your consideration is a Delft Holland Whaleship Hand Painted Pitcher Canister Mugs Description Delft, Holland, hand painted, exclusively Southstreet Seaport Museum set including: a pitcher, 2 -canisters and 4-mugs, which are all stamped accordingly. None of these pieces have cracks are chips and are in excellent condition. * Pitcher has crazing and measures 8 ½" high, 19" round, 11" across with handle and spout. The front painting details a sailboat in the water with the words Whaleship "Charles W. Morgan, the back painting details a whale and a sailboat with the words Capturing a Sperm Whale. The handle details painted blue swirls. * Canister #1 has no crazing and measures 11" high, 10 ½" round with a handle and a stopper with a cork with swirls. The front scene details a lighthouse and the back has 6 men in a whaling boat with 1 man holding a tarpon, and a whale coming out of the water with a tarpon in his back. * Canister #2 has very little crazing. 9" high the scene on the front and back match the pitcher. The sides details flowers. * Mug #1 has crazing with Whaleship "Lagoda" on front and capturing a sperm whale on back with whale scene. * Mug #2 has crazing with Whaleship "Charles W. Morgan" on front with whale scene and Capturing a Sperm Whale on the back. * Mug #3 has no crazing and matches #1. * Mug #4 has little crazing. The front says Whale Fishery and the back says Whaleship Wanderer. Please read all of the following before bidding.
