Delicate Handled Exquisite Nippon Vase 9th And Last One
Hi. HISTORY: I collected Nippon vases in this mold for 40 years, hand picking 1 out of every 10 I saw. * * I started selling them exactly a year ago on e-bay, April 2006. I planned to sell the BEST, the NICEST, the most unusual ones in order, each one a little nicer than the one before. * * April 2006, the 1st one got $455. #2 got $440, item # 7412059599 in May. In June #3 got $350. The next 5 got $295, $275 $245, $225 and $177 last month item # 180089327492. * * I sold 8 in a row ,same mold, each one got less, even though each was a little nicer. SIZE: same as the other 8 vases in this mold, 8" tall. * * LUCKILY I bought those vases years ago. FACT: I can not not buy a vase like this for less than $150 now. This is the last vase I have in this mold, it is by far the nicest. Currently I have been getting decent prices for Nippon vases so I am listing this now. Sunday a Nippon vase for $280, Saturday a vase for $245, and 3 others for more than $200 each. PRICE: The reseve on this one is lower than any Nippon vase I have ever listed, Under $150 * * DESCRIPTION: Pristine condition, one of the prettiest Nippon vases I've EVER had. Completely hand painted, bright vivid colors. The last photo shows a similar vase, note the "book" price.I know, "book" prices are not realistic. The prices dropped from $455 to $177 for similar vases, all in the same mold, all within a year. Imagine, this is priced $300 LESS than a similar vase I sold less than a year ago. AND it is necer. * * Bright vivid unusual colors, well over 1,000 gold beads from top to base, and more gold beads outlining the flowers. * * The backstamp, I & C.E, was a company that sold only to the British commonwealth. Item for item they made the finest of any company, Not just Nippon but of any and every company I have ever seen. Some of the highest priced items I sold were by them. Their items were made Before 1921 and up to the late 1920's. This is is...
