On offer is this charming late Victorian foot stool with original bead work of flower spray and horse shoe. The braiding around the outer circumference of the top in my opinion has been added later but works well and is being mentioned for accuracy. Also I have tried to photograph the knocks in the wood consistent with age and the crack on the underneath of the stool. All of which have been there since I bought the stool in auction some years ago. These flaws have not changed and the stool remains functional. The diameter of the stool is 28 cms. or 11ins.Overall an attractive useable Victorian foot stool..
