Up for bids is a light blue Delta Rocket Ray headlight removed from a 1950's Schwinn bicycle. This light is in original unrestored condition, as my father removed it from his bicycle decades ago (most likely in the 1950's) to install a generator-driven light set. I am not an expert on this light, but I will describe its condition to the best of my ability. T is no bulb installed. T is some corrosion on the battery frame and on one battery contact, in my opinion would be easy to clean up. T are scattered spots of surface rust inside and outside. T is accumulated dirt on the body and the lense. The lense is intact with no cracks that I can see, though it looks to me as if it may have shrunk away from one side of the body approximately 1/4 inch. Given the nature of this item, I have not cleaned it up, leaving it in as-found condition for the buyer to clean and restore. I am selling this as-is, so please look at the pictures and ask any questions prior to bidding. Thank you for your interest.
