So, what are you going to wear for Celebration 4? Or ComicCon, GenCon, WorldCon or even Halloween? How about something a little different, a deluxe Hoth Rebel soldier outfit? These costumes were used in the filming of the fan film "Cheap Seats 2" (see pics). Each is composed of the following costume parts: Tunic: This is the basic part of the costume, made with quilting over the shoulders like the original from the film. Slips on over your head. We had guys ranging from 5'10" and 200 pounds to over 6 feet, so we have tunics of a few different sizes, up to a 48" chest. These are all lined, and have been washed (cold water) so t will be no shrinkage. Includes a rank symbol that Velcro's onto the right sleeve. Email me your measurements if you have any questions as to whether it would fit - it can also be altered to be slightly smaller for a smaller person. Flak vest: Made to closely match the over vest from the film. Attaches around the neck and the back with Velcro. Includes a "com badge" that Velcros to the front. Hat: Build over a baseball cap, these mimic the caped, insulated hats of the Hoth soldiers, complete with a (non-working) radio clipped to the side, which can be removed for washing (the hat, not the radio..). Adjustable due to the baseball-hat underneath. Fits up to 7 5/8 (which is pretty big). Scarves: Comes with two (2) scarves, one is a cream-color, the other more tan, for wrapping around the hat and/or your neck. Goggles: A pair of ski goggles, very close in appearance to those from the film. Adjusts to fit any head size. Gloves: Long, grey leather gauntlet-style gloves (actually for pruning roses); these are large; again, they were able to fit up to our largest guys; t is a piece of white tape of the back of each to cover the manufacturer's name. Pants: These are just cargo pants from Walmart. We have 36" and I think 38" waists available. As they tuck into the boots, length wasn't a problem. Boots: These are actually muck-lucks from Canadian army surplus that we added straps to. Come in sizes 10, 11 and 12, these slip on over your shoes (if your feet aren't too big) or over your bare socks if they are. Backpack: These were made from boxes with fabric folded over them, then attached to bare metal backpack frames (Army surplus). We need to work on them a little better to make them more sturdy. They attach by clips to the back of the flak-vest, then around the waist with an adjustable belt. Rifle: We don't have any of these left to sell (it is NOT included with the auction), but I can send you info on what my husband used as a base for the gun, and how he painted it, etc - not too hard! We will also send you a small bag of fake, paper-based snow - great for sprinkling over your costume, for a more authentic look! Again, what you see is what you are bidding on - with minor alterations, the outfit is ready to go! I have been making costumes for over 15 years, and have extensive sewing experience.
