Deluxe Reading Vintage 20" BABY BOO Vinyl/Plastic Talking Doll MUTE 1963 SIZE: 20" tall MARKINGS: 19 (C) 63/ DELUXE READING/ 11 DESCRIPTION: Vinyl head and arms. Hard plastic torso and legs. Jointed at neck, shoulders, and hips. Bent arms and legs. Blue plastic sleep eyes with synthetic fiber upper lashes and painted bottom lashes. Painted eyebrows. Closed pink/orange painted mouth. Pink blush on cheeks. Rooted blonde synthethic hair. Grill and button on stomach, and battery compartment and on-off switch on back. Holds one D-size battery. Wearing a 9 month infant size pink cotton print sun dress with a smocked bodice with adjusted shoulder straps. Also wearing an 18 month infant size pink cotton hat and white cotton bloomers trimmed in white lace. CONDITION: Very good condition but her battery compartment is rusted and she no longer talks. Her hair is nice and her sleep eyes work well. She has been cleaned but there is one small blue stain on one arm (see photo). Her dress and hat are very nice and were originally intended for a real infant.
