This is a collectible vintage rare statue by Demott that I acquired at an estate sale. It is signed on the top of the marble base. This fine piece of art features a sad clown playing golf. He has just teed off. He looks in vein for his ball in the distance. However his ball sits on the ground just in front of the Tee. This wonderful piece of art is done in great detail; the clown is dressed in perfect golf attire, including white clown shoes. The base is made of heavy limestone marble. The clown statue is all metal. This piece was created circa 1960. T is no breaks, missing pieces or major damage. T is some scuffing to the paint only in the area under the golfer's right arm. The statue stands 6 1/2 inches high and the base measures 4 inches by 4 inches. This is a great statue for the golf lover or the collector of clown figurines.NOTE: I DO NOT SHIP OUTSIDE THE U.S. DO NOT BID IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A U.S. ADDRESS TO SHIP THIS ITEM TO. THANK YOU.
