Denbac French Porcelain Lidded 7 piece Smoking Set (circa 1920) If you like having only the very best pieces of authentic and very rare European Art pottery in your collection then consider this! A rare transitional Art Deco/Nouveau work created by the renowned French Denbac Art Studio! This work of art has the most incredible colors and glazes you could ever hope to find! The organic micr-crystalline drip glaze has hues of mahogany, taupe, olive and chocolate! Combines the geometric buttressed Art Deco patten with the Art Nouveau period glazes! Hardly ever found in a complete set and even more difficult to find in this condition! Denbac Studios was famous for their art porcelain, such as Aubry, Lorioux, Vallauris, and Pierrefonds. Denbac was founded in 1909 by Rene' Denert and Rene'-Louis Balichon at Vierzon, France. This is the first example like this I have ever seen offered on Ebay! The only thing that exceeds the detail is the pristine condition! No cracks....no chips....and no repairs of any kind! (blacklight tested) Appears to have never even been used other than for display....just outstanding! A total of seven pieces that would look wonderful on a dresser.....in a powder room....or anyw else an elegant statement is needed! Sure to take center stage in any collection! The largest lidded container measures 5" tall by 3 1/2" wide. The platter/tray measures an impressive 10" wide by 7 1/2" deep and the whole set is very heavy. Impressed on the base Denbac and numbered 53. Truly one the finest pieces of European Art Pottery I have ever presented! **Gauranteed original and authentic as all my items are. **Bidding starts at $1.00 and t is never a reserve so have fun!
