For sale is a gorgeous Denby-Limoges fine porcelain plate, Tiger Bouquet, from 1976. (Limoges Porcelain, France - Denby, from Tabletop Designs S.A.) It is #1439 in a limited edition of 6,000 . The design is from the Wildlife Collection based on a painting by Fleur Cowles (Smith-Edwards Quality Limited Editions). Look carefully and you can see the tiger lying among the flowers. The outside rim of the plate is a beautiful yellow - color in the picture didn't come out very true. This plate was created for the World Wildlife Fund.

Tiger Bouquet is the first edition in a series of four collector plates. It was issued at $50 in 1976. It has the Limited Edition Certificate (t is a 1" tear in it). The outside of the box shows wear; the plate appears to be in excellent condition; no cracking or crazing - doesn't look like it spent much time out of the box!

Fleur Cowles' works sold back in 1976 for $1,000 to $7,500!
