Denby Ode Coffee Set 15 piece; 6 cups 6 saucers milk jug, sugar bowl, coffee pot Description Denby Ode Coffee Set This listing is for a coffee set in the Denby Ode pattern which was designed in the early 1960's having a distinctive antique gold colour with creamy white interior. The set comprises a coffee pot, 6 cups and saucers, a milk jug and an open sugar bowl. All the pieces have a rectangular Denby backstamp apart from the coffee pot which has a Denby scroll backstamp. The coffee pot is 6 3/4 inches (17cm) high to the top of the lid. The cups are 2 1/2 (6.5cm) high. The saucers are around 5 3/4 (14.5cm) in diameter. The milk jug is 3 3/8" (8.5cm) high with a capacity of 1/3 pint (200 ml). The sugar bowl is 2 1/2 (6.5cm) high . The unpacked weight of the set is just under 4kg, hence the postage. All the pieces are in very good condition with no chips or cracks apart from a tiny scrape on the rim of two of the cups (photo 8), and the coffee pot has an underglaze fleabite from manufacture (photo 7).
