It is bright and fresh, painted in a realistic style. It depicts an oil tanker at sea. It is a very atmospheric painting giving the impression of twilight, with the colours of the sea and sky merging but with highlights provided by the breaking waves, the light from the ship and stars in the sky. Note we have a companion painting by Pannett also for sale. About the Artist: Denis Pannett is a well known artist who has painted professionally since 1985. He is the son of the famous portrait painter Juliet Pannett. He is particularly known for his paintings of aeroplanes and ships. He is an Honorary Freeman of the Painter Stainers Livery Company, President of the Wapping Group of Artists, Chairman of the Chiltern Painters and member of the Guild of Aviation Painters.
