1.75" diameter awesome employee photo ID badge from the famous New Departure Co of Meriden Ct.. The badge itself is simply awesome with a design that no doubt features embossed ball bearings around the edge. What a super piece of World War Two era history, Connecticut New England homefront history and a symbol of America's amazing industrial production before during and after WW2. This historic company started making doorbells, then bearings, then the famous coaster brake for bicycles and went on to automobile bearings. It was a heavy contributor to the homefront industrial explosion of the Second World War, producing percision bearings and partnering up with General Motors. This company even produced parts for the first lunar moon landing. What an awesome badge. When the quality is exceedingly high and the rarity is mind blowing, you know you're in Ddog country.
