The infamous Depeche Mode X1 & X2 Box Sets (ALCB 201-204 & ALCB 205-208) -- Released by Alfa Records in Japan in 1991 (and rumored to have been in production for only one day), these rare boxes are cloth-covered and contain 4 CDs each. Originally purchased used, the boxes themselves are in excellent shape with only a slight layer of dust on the box tops. The CDs are all in good condition -- Disc 3 contains some minor scratches, and Disc 8 has a few dried water spots, and only the OBI strip for X2 was included in the sets when originally purchased. Due to the fact that each CD only has a single-sheet insert, these have slid around within the jewel cases over the years and show some wear (as do the booklets packaged with each set).
