Here is a rare and beautiful black glass reamer advertising Sunkist! This was made by McKee Glass and it is marked on the base, "Made in USA". There is also a patent number but it is barely legible. There are only a few tiny nicks around the inside top edge. The color hides these well, but you can feel a little bit of roughness if you run your finger around it. There are no big chips and no cracks. It appears to be solid black glass and not painted, fired-on, glazed, or any other kind of reproduction. Light does not shine through it, and where the little nicks are even under 30x magnification the color seems to be consistent throughout the piece. It measures about 8.5" across the handle and spout, by 6" wide and about 3.5" tall.Gorgeous and hard-to-find glassware! An excellent addition to anyone's table or collection.
