This is a no reserve auction. Thank you for stopping in for a visit and I hope you see something you like! I appreciate your business! This is a Depression Glass Lime Green Elephant. He is quite a charmer! He weighs in at a hefty 3 lbs. 2 oz.! Shipping isn't going to be cheap on this fella. He's 4" high and 8" long from outstretched back leg to the front of his trunk at the bend in it. I've had him since the early 1980s and have never regretted buying him. I know he is very old but I've never been able to find out his maker. If someone recognizes him could you please email me and tell me who made him? I'd love to know! His only flaws, if you can call them that, are that t are bubbles in his glass. Personally I think that adds to his charm. The design on his blanket is crisp and clear as you can see in my pictures. He is in mint condition otherwise. I would suppose that the opening in his back makes him a candy or cigarette holder. In a bygone time, genteel people kept a dish or covered box of cigarettes on the coffee table or sideboard for their guests. It was expected that you would help yourself if you wanted to smoke. Even though I've never been a smoker, I do remember that from when I was very young. Sorry, I can't combine shipping on this fella, I wouldn't want to take a chance on him breaking in shipment. Legalese Please! My policy is: If you're not happy neither am I! If you have a valid reason for returning your item(s), email or call me within 24 hours of receiving it/them! My phone number will be sent to you at invoice time. Once we've come to an agreement, you may return it/them at YOUR expense within 7(seven) business days. That is, UNLESS I've made an error in the listing that led you to believe you were buying something significantly different. In that case you will return it at MY expense INSURED within 7(seven) business days. You must contact me first via email or phone within 24 hours to let me know you wish to return your item(s)! It/they must be returned in the condition in which it was shipped (unless it's damaged) by Priority Mail AND INSURANCE IS REQUIRED. If it wasn't damaged on its way to you but returns to me without insurance and IS damaged on the return trip I WILL NOT refund your money. It has to be insured on its return trip in case it gets damaged so that I can make a claim at the Post Office. Should damage occur on its return trip to me, I will reimburse you the postage you pay to send the insurance slip to me. Once I have the item(s) and have established that it is in its original condition I will refund your purchase price ONLY, MINUS eBAY LISTING AND FINAL SALE FEES. This is because I will have to list it again. I will refund the money to you through PayPal. You must have an account for me to be able to do this. I will not refund your original shipping cost unless I made a significant error in my listing. In that case you will receive a total refund including the shipping. If something unforeseen happens during shipping, email or call me within 24 hours so that I can Priority Mail at MY expense the insurance receipt to you to expedite your claim with the Post Office. I can't be held responsible for any misadventure your package has at the hands of the Postal Service. That's why I require insurance. I am a good packer and take every step necessary to ensure that you receive your item in the same condition in which it leaves my hands. Whew! Got all that? Clear as mud, right? Read it a second and third time if necessary! If you have ANY concerns about this policy, please email me via ASK SELLER A QUESTION before you bid and I'll try to remedy your concerns. The basic premise is that I want you to be happy with anything you buy or win from me. Remember eBay gives you 60 days if t is a dispute. Hopefully you'll never need them. I'm very anxious to please my customers!
