You are viewing an eextremely rare brandnew, never opened set of 3 Department 56 snowbabies pewter miniature collectible figures #76749 called "Jack Frost...A Sleighride Through The Stars". The sleigh measures approx. 2 1/2” tall x 2 1/2” wide; polar bear with baby 1 1/2" tall x 1 1/2" long; polar bear 3/4" tall x 1 1/2" long . Pewter Minature Snowbabies are smaller cousins to the larger, bisque designs. The snowbaby is made from hand painted ceramic over pewter with a crusty snow styled finish. This snowbaby was introduced December, 1994; Retired December 1998. Once a piece has been retired, the mold is destroyed. The entire miniatures line was retired in 2001. This piece comes with the original box and foam insert. The box is in very good condition. There is a price tag on the bottom of the box. Photo shows figure in original wrapping. I did not want to remove it and possibly damage figure. My mother was a snowbabies collector. She is moving and there is not room for her to store the boxes filled with her precious collection. I will be listing a large number of snowbabies within the next few months. Many are retired and/or NIB. Please check back, often.
