Up for your consideration is this Dept. 56 Caravansary Corner. This is a set of 2 from the Little Town of Bethlehem The Holy Land Collection. This is a corner section of the caravansary wall. On the bottom t is an archway. T is a window with a shelf in front of it. On the shelf t are 2 jugs and a bird. T is a burrow with a blanket on his back standing in the archway. T are plants in this area and you can see w the sand has blown in. On the side t is a wood crate with sticks in it. T are steps on the outside going to the top floor. On the wall is a torch. By the door is a jug. T are windows in the. The top floor is set further back on the roof. Over the windows t is a small slanted roof. On the roof of the ground floor t is a jug with a bird perched near it and an open crate with a bird flying from it. You can see w the sand has blown in on the roofs and steps also. On the back side of this is a palm tree, the branches need to be shaped , and a jug sitting around the corner. T is a small stit opening in the rock wall near the living quarters. This has a light cord and is made of porcelain. It is hallmarked on th bottom Little Town Of Bethlehem Series "Caravansary Corner" Department 56 2001. This is approx. 7" tall x 8" long x 6 1/4" wide. T is a figurine of a man included. He is wearing a white robe and sandles. Over his shoulder he has a bed roll and and a bag. He has a staff in his hand and t is a bundle on the ground beside him. He is 2 1/2" high. T is a rolled up scroll with this that appears to be a map. I did not open it as it is tied. This is new in the original box, t is some shelf ware to the box. This is item # 56.59806. This would be a great Christmas gift or a gift to yourself.
