Derby Fans! Vtg 18KT Gold Jockey Cap & Crop Brooch - 3g Hello, Just a reminder that most of the items I sell are in used condition and as such most pieces will probably need a bit of cleaning and/or polishing. I usually do a light clean up looking for wear and flaws, but I try not to do too much as most collector's seem to prefer to clean the items themselves. I will list all flaws that I find, so please read the full description before bidding and/or buying as I sometimes have a tendency to babble a bit. I try not to use a flash and to get as close as possible to the item when taking photos, hopefully that way there are no nasty surprises for the buyer. The only problem with doing this is the close ups combined with my poor photography skills tend to magnify any small flaw and/or light reflection, so please keep that in mind when looking at the pics. I do apologize for the fur that shows up occasionally in my pics, my cat has decided that my photo box is a perfect nap spot and I can't seem to convince him that it's not, my lint brush is getting a good workout though! If you see something that looks like a problem that is not mentioned in the listing, let me know, I will double check the piece to make sure I didn't miss something. International Buyers My apologies, but I can no longer offer free shipping for international as it was just getting too expensive. International shipping charges are based on the total weight of the package and will be calculated on the checkout page. I am always happy to ship internationally and have had very good luck with items getting to buyers with little or no problems. Please be aware that sometimes there can be additional duty fees, taxes, etc charged by your country which you will be responsible for. There can also be a delay when the package goes through customs and on rare occassions, some shipments just don't make it at all. I do send you the tracking number from the customs form when I ship and should there be any problem, will do my best to help you track down your package, but I cannot be responsible for lost items. This is a really pretty piece in overall fine condition, although I think the very tip of the pin fitting has been broken off as it is a bit dull, still works though and can easily be sharpened if needed. The piece is stamped 750 on the back along with 52(could be S2) AR and the front is a jockey cap overlaying a riding crop. This is well made with a better quality feel and it is older. The total weight of the piece is 3 grams, but I don't think the pin fitting itself is gold(looks like silver), so subtract a little for that. The brooch measures 1 5/8" wide and this would be a great piece to wear to the Derby.
