This fine quality porcelain coffee can , was made at Derby , circa 1815 , and bears the factory mark , on the base . It is decorated with a very well handpainted bouquet of flowers within a cobalt blue border and enriched with lots of gilding , this was painted by Moses Webster , an example of this pattern by Moses Webster , is shown in John Twitchett's book on Derby , on page 111 . It stands at 2 3/8" high and is in very good condition , with no chips , cracks or restoration and the gilding is good , with just some rubbing , on the top edge , there is some of the usual fine glaze crazing , and some fine kiln dust on the top of the handle , from when it was made , the dark patches on the gilding , on the sides in the pictures , are shadows from the camera flash and not there .
